Using this website

These terms apply when you browse dayandyou.com, create an account, contact us, or place an order. By using the website, you agree to use it lawfully and with accurate information.

We may update the website, product range, prices, content, and these terms from time to time. The terms published at the time you place an order apply to that order, unless a law requires otherwise.

Orders and handmade pieces

Day and You pieces are handmade in small batches. Slight variations in pearls, materials, colour, spacing, finish, packaging, and photography are part of the nature of handmade jewellery and are not usually faults.

Personalised details, including dates, text, months, and other choices, are made from the information you submit. Please review personalisation details carefully before checkout. If you notice an error after ordering, contact us as soon as possible and we will help where production has not already started.

Pricing and payment

Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout and may change without notice before an order is placed. Shipping, duties, taxes, or other charges may be shown separately where applicable.

Payment is processed through Stripe or another secure payment provider. An order is accepted when payment is authorised and we issue an order confirmation. If there is a pricing, stock, payment, or technical error, we may cancel the affected order and refund any amount paid.

Shipping and delivery

Estimated processing and delivery times are estimates only. Handmade production, customs, postal delays, address issues, weather, public holidays, or carrier disruption may affect delivery.

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. If an address needs to be changed after checkout, contact us quickly. We cannot guarantee changes after fulfilment has started.

Refunds and consumer guarantees

Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws, including Australian Consumer Law where it applies. If a product has a major failure, is not of acceptable quality, is not as described, or otherwise fails a consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a remedy such as repair, replacement, refund, or compensation depending on the circumstances.

We do not usually offer refunds for change of mind, incorrect choices submitted by the customer, ordinary handmade variation, or damage caused by misuse, wear and tear, or failure to follow care instructions, unless required by law.

If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or with a suspected fault, contact us promptly with your order number and clear photos so we can assess the issue and offer the remedy required or appropriate.

Accounts and security

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

We may suspend or restrict access if we reasonably believe an account is being misused, used fraudulently, or used in a way that harms the website, customers, or the business.

Intellectual property

The Day and You name, website design, photographs, product copy, illustrations, interface design, and other content belong to Day and You or our licensors. You may view and use the website for personal shopping purposes only.

You may not copy, reproduce, scrape, modify, distribute, or commercially use our content without written permission, except where allowed by law.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of the website or products. Where the law allows us to limit a remedy, our liability is limited to resupplying the goods or services, repair, replacement, or refund.

This limitation does not exclude guarantees, rights, or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or modified.
